Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving es una festividad propia de los Estados Unidos de América que se celebra con carácter anual el cuarto jueves de Noviembre.

 Los orígenes de esta festividad se remontan al año 1620.

Thanksgiving o Acción de Gracias es una fecha para compartir bendiciones y buenos deseos con la familia y los seres más cercanos.

Nuestros alumnos han realizado actividades durante este mes para comprender esta festividad y sobre todo, poder celebrarla hoy, el 4º jueves de novivembre.

Autumn

The arrival of Autumn makes us decorate our classrooms. From Grade 1 to 6, doors, walls and even windows are adorned with different ornaments related with the current season.

 

I'm sharing this little poem with you.

Little leaves fall softly down

Red and yellow, orange and brown

Whirling, twirling round and round

Falling softly to the ground

Little leaves fall softly down

To make a carpet on the ground.

Then, swish, the wind comes whistling by

And sends them dancing to the sky.

English lecturer

Por segundo año consecutivo, nuestro colegio cuenta con una auxiliar de covnersación inglesa.

Todos los jueves desde octubre a mayo, Mary va a pasarse por neustras aulas de Primaria y Secundaria para ayudarnos a mejorar las destrezas de listening, reading, speaking y wrting.

Según se vaya pasando por las aulas, iremos grabando actividades y dinámicas que Mery trabaje con nuestros alumnos.

Desde el departamento de inglés, le agradecemos a Mary su trabajo y esperamos que nustros alumnos disfruten con sus actividades y dinámicas.

This is the second year we have an English lecturer in our school.

Mary will accompany our English teachers every Thursday from October to May, in order to improve students' skills.

When she visits a classroom, the teacher may record her explanations or games to show how hard our students are working.

All English teachers thank Mary for her work and we hope our students will enjoy her lessons.
