Halloween

What animal is best at baseball?

Halloween it's an English tradition which is celebrated the night of the 31st of October ever year.

This festivity is really old, it started nearly 3000 years ago, but the contemporary way to celebrate it become popular in the 1930s.

English teachers teach our students this festivity in our classrooms.

During this month, extracurricular teachers have done a workshop to learn vocabulary and understand the festivity.

In addition, English teachers have done word games in the classroom and the winner of the activities have won a little prize.

Can anyone remember the vocabulary we have just seen during this week? Can you translate from the following words into English: escoba, calabaza, vampiro, esqueleto and fantasma?

And for the most clever English learners, here you have a riddle: What animal is best at baseball?

Months of the year

We have started the scholar year with good rhythm. A couple of days ago, we were checking the months of the year and the seasons vocabulary. Diamond, who is a Grade 4 student, reads a poem for us. Wonderful!

What is your favourite season?
